Genesis Adds AAA Screening Dates   (Posted 1/23/06)

Genesis Medical Center has scheduled three additional screenings for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm to meet tremendous interest from the public. 

The available screening times for all eight originally scheduled screenings - February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, and 23 - have been filled.  

The new dates being added are as follows: 
Saturday, February 18 - 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute 
Saturday, March 11 - 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute
Thursday, March 23 - 12:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute 
Thursday, March 30 - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute
Thursday, April 6 - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute
Thursday, April 13 - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute
Thursday, April 20 - 12:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute
Thursday, April 27 - 12:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. - Genesis Heart Institute

Cost of the screenings is $35. 

"We will keep scheduling these important screenings until everyone who wants to be screened has been screened," said Karen Doy, Supervisor, Genesis Cardiac Rehabilitation.  "We've been pleasantly surprised and encouraged by the public response."
