A regional network of cardiac specialists provide leading-edge heart care through the Genesis Heart Institute. A multidisciplinary approach between cardiologists, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgeons means patients get the best approach to manage and treat cardiovascular disease. The Institute is an evolving organization comprised of the many cardiovascular providers in the Eastern Iowa-Western Illinois Region.

Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation (MCRF) 
The Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation is a consortium of affiliate research sites capable of:
1.  developing and conducting large clinical trials; and 
2.  performing regional educational activities for health care personnel and the general public, educating persons on the recognition, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
